Abstract

Biography

Sam is a recent graduate of MIT’s Master in City Planning program. His MCP research focused on promoting sustainable and equitable real estate development, both locally in the Boston area and internationally in Malaysia and Mexico. Sam was previously a senior researcher at the Overseas Development Institute in London, where he analyzed the effectiveness of international climate funds and supported discussions on climate finance in the UNFCCC negotiations. He also worked to promote bold renewable energy policies on Capitol Hill during a period with the Heinrich Boell Foundation North America. Sam has a BSc in Environmental Science from the University of East Anglia and an MSc in Environmental Policy from the University of Oxford, UK.
