Research, Innovation and Trade Attachée, Québec Government Office in Boston

Patricia Gruver-Barr is the Research & Innovation Attachée for the Québec Government Office in Boston where she leads the US as the Life Sciences Specialist. She also co-chairs the Science & Technology Diplomatic Circle of Boston, a member organization of 67 countries from representative diplomatic missions in the greater Boston area who share a common interest in science and technology. Previous to her role at the Québec Government Office, Patricia worked as a Senior Science & Innovation Officer for the British Government on both coasts of the US.  In this position, she led the US team as the Oceans Programme Lead and the Communications Lead. Before working in government, she worked at Harvard University and University of New South Wales in international cancer research.  She did her graduate work in public health and epidemiology at The University of Sydney in Australia.
