Lucy Atkinson
MCP Candidate
Lucy Atkinson is a first-year MCP student at MIT and a research assistant developing a Community Benefits Agreement toolkit to support renewable energy development. Her academic focus is on climate resilience planning and community engagement, informed by prior experience as a water resources engineer in California.
A born-and-raised New Englander, Lucy brings a strong regional perspective and interdisciplinary approach to her work. Outside of her studies, she enjoys playing violin in orchestras, musicals, and Irish sessions, following Red Sox baseball and women’s soccer, and exploring the great outdoors.
