Michal is a PhD candidate for an Interdisciplinary Doctorate at Tufts University, Medford, MA. She is a Water Diplomacy IGERT Fellow. Michal earned her Masters of Landscape Architecture in 2006 and her Masters of Urban Planning in 2007, both from the University of Washington. Her primary research interests are; Urban ecology, decision making under uncertainty, resilience and regime shifts, coupled socio-ecological systems, human values and worldviews, vulnerability and coastal flooding. Her primary research applications are; scenario Planning, spatial analysis, climate adaptation, conceptual mapping, visual communication of scientific data.
