Custom 1 | Griffin grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado and Baden, Austria. He graduated from Grinnell College with degrees in biology and policy studies. After graduation, he worked in a sociogenomics lab studying honeybee colony collapse disorder and epigenetic effects before moving to Cambridge to work for the Consensus Building Institute, a negotiation and dispute resolution nonprofit. He’s now pursuing a master’s in city planning at MIT and works with Larry Susskind on socially responsible real estate in Malaysia. His interests include incorporating scientific research into policy outcomes and encouraging prosocial behavior through public policy. He’s also a runner, skier, and beekeeper. |
