Emily is a Master in City Planning candidate at MIT’s Department of Urban Studies & Planning. As a research assistant for the Science Impact Collaborative, she is working on a series of workshops to engage Cambridge stakeholder groups on health impacts related to climate change. These workshops will help identify the kinds of arguments that carry weight with different stakeholder groups regarding the steps the city should take to manage the health risks likely to be caused by climate change. Emily’s research interests include climate change adaptation strategies and infrastructure resilience. She holds a BA from Colgate University.
